The road that took us to the Takapala waterfall was certainly not the most comfortable, with at least 2.5 hours journey from Makassar City with a car. (The driver quoted us Rp 900,000 for a round trip for Takapala and Malino Tea Plantation. Probably negotiable with other Drivers, but we got a nice big comfortable car to fit 4 adults.)

The road to the waterfall is relatively good with a little winding up and down hills.
